Some people like solid mountains, some like powerful ocean, fresh forest or calm lake. But choosing what to put on your wall is a bit more than what you like.

Every piece of nature, each topic or subject has its own unique energy. And depending on this energy you would want to put the picture in certain parts of your home or office to enhance or suppress energies that are already there.

There is already a thing in the world that covers everything about interior. It is called Feng Shui. Feng shui - is an old chineese method of living in harmony with external energies. The correct use of it brings luck, health and prosperity. The art of Feng Shui is very complex, so articles on this site will just cover the aspect of proper decoration of your home and office with photographies.

It is currently a well known fact that colors affect people. There is an alternative medicine method, which is usually called Chromotherapy (sometimes - color therapy, colorology or cromatherapy). It is claimed that a therapist trained in chromotherapy can use color and light to balance "energy" wherever a person's body be lacking, be it physical, emotional, spiritual, or mental. Each photo consists of colors. Usually there are one or more main colors throughout single photography. According to scientific researches, each color has its own properties and impact on human, can enhance of suppress energies. 2. Colors. What color is your wall? Which colored objects are around? What color is the light? Color harmony is a known thing and well investigated these days. This site provides (starting January-February 2011) a tool to help you make a color decision.

One more thing. If you really-really like the photo, but cannot find any logical reasons (color, position etc) to buy… then BUY it :) Your subconscious will always advise good things to you.
